Come celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Young Ambassadors! We would love to have you with us as we remember and relive our glory days! Here is the list of events for the weekend of February 11-14, 2010.
Thursday February 11, 2010
(Thursday only for the YA Alumni who choose to perform in "The New Music Makers"*)
9:00- Choreography and Music Rehearsal for "The New Music Makers"
12:00- Lunch Break
1:00- Rehearsal continues. Location: de Jong Concert Hall in the HFAC.
4:30- Dinner Break
5:30- Sound Check
6:45- Green Room. Location: de Jong Concert Hall Green Room.
7:30- Performance of "The New Music Makers" in the de Jong Concert Hall featuring Young Ambassadors Alumni performers
9:30- Home to rest
Friday February 12, 2010
3:00- Tour of the new Young Ambassador facilities. Location: BYU Richards Building
6:45- Green Room for YA Alumni/Current YA's. Location: de Jong Green Room.
7:30- Performance of "The New Musice Makers" in the de Jong Concert Hall featuring Young Ambassador Alumni performers.
9:30- Welcome reception for YA Alumni. Location: BYU Hinckley Center
Saturday February 13, 2010
9:00- Fireside rehearsal with Randy Boothe for Sunday evening fireside broadcast. Location: BYU Conference Center Auditorium.
2:00- Matinee Performance of "The New Music Makers" in the de Jong Concert Hall featuring Young Ambassador Alumni performers
3:30- "Many Mighty Miracles" Fireside presented by Randy Boothe and Young Ambassador Directors. Location: BYU Conference Center Auditorium
5:00- Free Time
6:30- 40th Anniversary International Buffet Location: BYU Conference Center Banquet Room
8:00- 40th Anniversary Alumni Showcase Concert. Location: BYU Conference Center Auditorium
Sunday February 14, 2010
2:00- Fireside rehearsal. Location: LDS Conference Center Little Theatre.
5:00- Dinner Break.
6:15- Prayer Meeting
7:00- Filmed YA Alumni Fireside titled "I Am a Child of God" Location: LDS Conference Center Little Theatre
8:30- Farewell until the 45th Anniversary Reunion in 2015
* YA Alumni who choose to perform with the current YA’s will perform in the following:
BOTH:
1. “Mr. Music Maker” (Opener)
2. “The Color Purple” (Finale)
UP TO 2 ADDITIONAL ASSIGNED NUMBERS FROM THE FOLLOWING LIST:
